Glenn Beck Being Google Bombed!
Glenn Beck, the Fox News commentator, is being hit as I type this with a “Google Bomb”. If you search his name, the Google alternative search suggestions are “Glenn Beck rapist” and “Glenn Beck murder”. Want to understand how a Google Bomb mobosphere attack works? The mass attack on Glenn Beck falsely claims he raped and killed a young girl in 1990. There is even a “sucks site” of sorts: www.glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com. I’m not going to link to them, but there is a fake mugshot online and a faked Durham police report purportedly from 1990.
This is what the “Google Bomb” book is about. And the account linked to above is a really good analysis of what is happening. And it is continuing to grow rapidly by anonymous speakers. Note that this attack is generating suggested search results that are defamatory, and not yet significant search results. That will likely come shortly based upon Google algorithms.
